A home for your Pearl wallet

Choose official Oyster or Nacre’s independent browser wallet. Both send native PRL on Pearl mainnet. Nacre is not an official Pearl Research Labs product.

Nacre browser wallet

  1. Create or import

    Open “Connect wallet” and choose Nacre. Create a 24-word recovery phrase, import a standard 12- or 24-word Oyster phrase, or restore a Nacre encrypted JSON backup. Choose a unique password of at least 8 characters.

  2. Keep your recovery backup

    Write your recovery words offline. Your wallet is encrypted in this browser, with AES-256-GCM and PBKDF2-SHA256. Clearing browser data removes this device’s copy. Nacre cannot reset your password or recover your words.

  3. Receive and transfer PRL

    The Receive screen has your address, payment request and QR code. To send, review the full recipient address, amount, network fee and total, then press Sign & send to approve. An unlocked wallet signs without asking for the password again. Transactions are signed in your browser. The website receives public wallet information and signed transactions, never your password or recovery phrase.

  4. Check your receipt

    If broadcasting times out, check the saved transaction ID. The wallet will not create another transfer while the outcome is unknown. “Rebroadcast” sends the exact same signed transaction.

Keep this device unlocked

After unlocking, creating or importing a wallet, keep “Keep unlocked on this device for 14 days” selected to reopen without entering the password again. My wallet opens Nacre directly; Switch wallet opens the other connection options.

Your password is never saved. Remembered access is encrypted in this browser and expires after 14 days. Anyone using this browser can approve transactions while remembered. Lock wallet removes that access across tabs immediately. Your encrypted backup does not include the remembered device key.

Official Oyster wallet

The Nacre connector runs on your computer beside Oyster. Every connection and transfer requires a separate local approval. Private keys remain in Oyster.

  1. Install and synchronize Oyster

    Use the official Pearl releases. Create or restore your wallet in oystercli, save its recovery phrase, and wait for synchronization. Keep the Oyster recovery phrase in Oyster when using this connection method.

  2. Start the Nacre connector

    In the Nacre source folder, copy the example configuration below. Set your Oyster RPC username, password, certificate path and the exact Nacre website origin.

    The connector listens only at 127.0.0.1:19281. Mainnet RPC uses verified TLS. RPC credentials stay on your computer; they are different from your wallet-unlock password.

  3. Connect and approve

    Choose Oyster in the wallet chooser. Unlock it in its own terminal and approve the website in the local review window. Connection approval alone cannot transfer funds. Each payment has its own review, and Oyster locks after signing.

  4. Use a dedicated account

    Balances and transfers use the configured Oyster account. The connector displays an estimated network fee before approval and the actual fee after submission. Check the recipient, amount, network and fee rate before approving.
